ACCIDENT REPORTS
 
Accident reports are open records and therefore anyone may request and receive a report.
Accident reports are retained at the police department for seven years.
To request a report:
You may request a copy of an accident report, for an accident that occurred in the City of Eagle River, by phone (715-479-1941), during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.).

To assist with locating the accident report in question, you will be asked to provide one or more of the following:

  1. Incident number
  2. Officer's name or badge #
  3. Name of a driver
  4. Date of accident
  5. Location of accident

COST $5.00

VIDEO/DVD COPY

To request a report:
You may request a copy of video/dvd, for an incident that occurred in the City of Eagle River, by phone (715-479-1941), during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.).

To assist with locating the accident report in question, you will be asked to provide one or more of the following:

  1. Incident number
  2. Officer's name or badge #
  3. Name of a driver
  4. Date of accident
  5. Location of accident

Cost: $30.00 for Copy or $25.00 for in house review.

PHOTOS

To request photos:
You may request copies of photos, for an accident that occurred in the City of Eagle River, by phone (715-479-1941), during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.).

To assist with locating the accident report in question, you will be asked to provide one or more of the following:

  3. Name of a driver

Cost: 4x6 $2.50, 8x10 $5.00.

 

BUILDING/TRANSPORT ESCORTS

Cost: 1st hour $50.00 and each additional hour $25.00 per officer.
